Mosaic Welcomes a New Children’s Ministry Director

This month, Mosaic is thrilled to welcome Heather Stevenson as our new Director of Children’s Ministry. Heather brings a ton of passion and skill, as well as 30 years of experience teaching and mentoring kids and young adults. Heather is well-known as the co-founder of PUSH Physical Theatre, an award-winning national touring company that calls Mosaic home. But she is perhaps even more well-regarded for her work with children through PUSH Pins, Young Audiences, and school residencies.

Heather’s experience and reputation spring from her remarkable ability to build trust and rapport with kids. She just knows, better than most, how to respect kids, draw the best out of them, inspire them, and teach them to experience love and offer it in return.

Heather is putting together an ambitious plan for growing the curriculum and resources we offer in our kids programs as we seek to make them a primary ministry of our church. That includes investing in our existing nursery and young kids’ class, along with launching new programs for other ages next year. Parents who are curious about the program or want to see it in action are welcome to join their kids in class on a Sunday morning.

Please join us in welcoming Heather to Mosaic’s staff!
