The Rochester City Council has rescheduled the last public forum on the Police Accountability Board (PAB) Legislation that was postponed due to extreme winter weather resulting in unsafe travel conditions. The public forum will now be held on Thursday, February 21st in the City Hall Atrium (30 Church Street, Downtown Rochester) from 5:30pm – 7:00pm and advance sign up is not required.
The Rochester City Council recently submitted legislation to create a Police Accountability Board. With the release of the document, the City Council promised the community that there would be opportunity for public review and comment. In order to accommodate the public and increase accessibility, the Council scheduled three public forums, one on the Eastside, one on the Westside and one in the Center City. The first two forums were held on the Eastside and Westside and were well attended.
If anyone would like to provide feedback and are unable to attend the public forum, please send comments in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
