Shoveling Snow for Neighbors

The City's Southeast Neighborhood Service Center is building a list of volunteers to help shovel snow for about a dozen city residents who need help when the snow falls. Is this something you'd be willing to help out with from time to time?

Here are the answers to a few basic questions:

  • How do I sign up to volunteer? Contact the Southeast Neighborhood Service Center at 585-428-7640 or email Jeiri Flores at
  • Where is assistance needed? This is not city-wide. We are only looking for volunteers to help out in the southeast quad [map].
  • How often would I be called? The need will depend on the snow fall.
